Capsula Mundi cremation tree urn is made by a biodegradable polymer (bioplastic). The time it takes to biodegrade ranges from a few months to a few years, depending on local climate and soil conditions.
This biodegradable urn is made in Italy. Each bio urn is unique, thanks to handcrafted interventions during production.

The Capsula Mundi biodegradable urn is 29 cm (11.4 inches) tall and its maximum width is 22 cm (8.7 inches). The urn’s inner volume is 3.5 liters. The weight of the bio urn is about 1,4 kg (50 ounces).
 
Some people choose to plant a tree over the urn upon burial. The tree is not included with this product or in the shipment.
