Full-Body Natural Burial

At Celebration Green Cemetery, our full-body burials follow the principles of natural and environmentally responsible burial. The body is laid to rest directly in the earth without embalming chemicals, allowing a natural return to the soil.

The deceased is gently prepared and wrapped in natural materials chosen by the family. These may include biodegradable shrouds made from cotton, linen, wool, hemp, or silk. Some families also choose simple biodegradable containers such as wicker, willow, bamboo, seagrass, untreated wood, or cardboard caskets.

The burial takes place directly in the ground, without concrete vaults or liners, ensuring the process remains as natural and sustainable as possible while honoring the life of the person being remembered.
