Brigit Elinora McLaren

About

It is with heavy hearts that we remember Brigit Elinora McLaren (née Alstrup), 76, of Riverview, New Brunswick, who passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Brigit was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose family was at the heart of her life. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generous spirit, and the countless ways she showed her love to those around her.

She had a special passion for knitting and found great joy in sharing her craft with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will remain with them for years to come.

Brigit leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Her love, lessons, traditions, and the memories she created will continue to live on through the people she loved.

Though she is no longer with us, Brigit’s love will remain a part of her family’s lives forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
